The band plays traditional music from all over the place - Scotland, Northumberland, Ireland, Canada, the USA and more. All five members are fans of the more swingy style of Shetland fiddle music so understandably, a few sets are included in the repertoire. Three members of the band have been regulars for many years at the Pilot Inn session, held in Berwick every Thursday evening. Swains' Kitchen is looking for playing opportunities at concerts, festivals, pubs, hotels, and other events. | (As far as we know) there aren't any other bands in the area with a line up of fiddles, piano and guitar playing the kind of music we do.
